Smoked venison roulade canapés

A simple yet impressive starter or dinner party canapé using our delicious cold smoked venison and..... no cooking involved!
Makes 20 canapés:
  1. Roughly chop the rocket and mix with the cream cheese and cream.  Add some seasoning and check the taste
  2. Lay slices of the smoked venison on a sheet of cling-film, slightly overlapping each other.  Try to get a square shape - you will make a number of them depending on the length of the slices.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture on the bottom two-thirds of the squares and then roll up into a roulade, pulling back the cling-film as you go.
  4. Chill for at least a couple of hours before slicing into 1cm thick pieces ready to serve.
