Venison shish kebabs

These delicious kebabs are skewered with vegetables with a bit of a kick - the perfect BBQ recipes taken from 
The recipe below makes 8 kebabs but you can adjust the amount of ingredients to whatever you need.
  1. Put the soy sauce, sugar, ginger, mustard powder, garlic powder and cayenne pepper into a large bowl and whisk together until the sugar has dissolved.  Mix in the vegetable oil and then add the cubed venison and make sure they are all coated with the marinade.  Cover with clingfilm and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  2. Place the wooden skewers into water to soak according to their instructions and get your BBQ ready.
  3. Take the venison out of the marinade and thread onto skewers alternating with onion, jalapeno and peppers.
  4. Cook on the BBQ, turning occasionally until cooked to your liking - usually around 10 minutes for medium-rare which is perfect.
(You can also cook these on a griddle pan on the hob)
